Hello Manchester Crew,

We’re in the full swing of open air parties now and whilst we always love a warehouse, the outside air hits different. I checked out Spring/Summer venue Progress One a couple weeks ago for Ben UFO and it’s definitely worth a trip, they’ve got a stacked line-up each weekend too.

Right. Friday. Two of the biggest nights are sold out, Wigflex celebrating 20 years at The White Hotel and Teletech bringing Sara Landry to Factory International. If you're not already sorted for those, hit TicketSwap. But honestly the rest of Friday is rinsing too. My pick is SPUN's first birthday at Rebellion, Chimpo and J Majik headlining a proper jungle bill, one year in and already booking serious names. The Grassroots Affair at Hidden gathers the most exciting underground collectives in the city for a fiver.

Saturday has one story that needs calling out above everything else. Kwassa Files are playing their final ever party. There’s been no big announcement for this, but worth checking out if you’re a DBA fan. Beyond that, DJ Boring brings Colour Club to Progress with Ross From Friends for a 3pm open-air session.

Sunday is free and fully loaded. Hit & Run and Outlook Origins are throwing a free session at Freight Island from noon, with O.B.F., Iration Steppas and SUBMATIC on soundsystems. It doubles as the Manchester launch party for Outlook Origins Festival in Croatia. Dub, jungle, reggae all day in the sunshine.

Until next week, party people.
