Hello Manchester Crew,

Spring is finally waking up, which means one very important thing for the scene: the triumphant return of the day party. There is nothing quite like stepping out of a venue and realizing it's still light outside, or dancing through a golden hour before plunging into a basement for the afters. To make sure you’re prepped for the longer days, I’ve also put together a April Lookahead further down this email, featuring 8 unmissable dates including warehouse slammers, hard techno titans, and vital local fundraisers.

But back to this weekend, where we've got a serious Day vs. Night dynamic playing out across the city.

Friday is still firmly dedicated to the creatures of the night. If you want a proper musical journey, Chaos In The CBD are playing all night long at NOWHERE. On the flip side, if you want something utterly punishing, Ancient Methods is bringing pitch-black EBM and industrial to renae.

Saturday is where the day-to-night transition really shines. Start your afternoon with Fat Tony bringing unfiltered daytime disco to Joshua Brooks, or head over to The New Cross for The Kebab Shop Disco (free entry, natty wine, and world grooves all day). Once the sun drops, the underground takes over. Main Phase, Chinese Daughter & Zuri are serving up serious jungle and breaks at The Loft, while The Knife's legendary Olof Dreijer takes over Yes.

Sunday is strictly about daytime recovery and keeping the weekend rolling at a comfortable pace. You can catch Jason Boardman spinning balearic beats at Piccadilly Central, or fully decompress at renae with the ambient-led Room To: Process interactive art space.

Until next week, party people.

PS: If any of the below are sold out (very likely), it’s always worth checking TicketSwap or Twickets for legit resale tickets.
