Hello Manchester Crew,

If you’re anything like us, this weekend signals the final mad dash to round off the Christmas shopping. Thankfully, there’s plenty opportunity to blow off steam with a jam-packed roster this weekend.

House heads must have been nice this year because Friday is stocked. Modern Funktion arrives to deliver the deepest cuts of underground House music - led by Truly Madly and Julian Anthony.

The Loft has flown in Chicago legend Garrett Davies to b3b with Hamish & Toby - The creators of internationally acclaimed Butter Side Up - now celebrating 15 years.

Finally… Prospa leads the bill at Friday’s Warehouse Project. No Prospa, no party.

Like a reindeer on Christmas Eve, Saturday is flying; it provides a rare treat to catch Fabric legend Craig Richards at The White Hotel (This is my weekend pick).

April (UK) vs Esmé land at Soup for what will be a genre-bending, vinyl mash-up of Breaks, Electro, House, Bass, Jungle and everything in-between (if there’s anything left?).

But if that’s all too timid for you, the aptly named Dr Bumbercrease leads a large line-up at The Bag Factory for Bassline, Jungle and Drum & Bass. This one is everything your nan doesn’t want for Christmas.

Sunday brings us a big one, Chris Stussy at The Warehouse Project. But if you’re looking for something a bit easier to lead you into Monday, hit up Cult & Coffee, the coolest coffee shop in Manchester, where they’ll be spinning Deep House on vinyl whilst serving “Cocktails, Coffee & Focaccia”

Until next week, party people:
